Vietnamese embassy joins in second Oriental Festival in Mexico
The Vietnamese embassy alongside a number of other Asian countries recently participated in the second Oriental Festival as it got underway in Mexico.
The Oriental Festival offers a platform for a variety of Asian nations to showcase their traditional culture by displaying local cuisine, handicraft products, and tourism products at booths throughout the event. Asian countries could be found displaying goods at the festival, including representatives from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, India, and Vietnam.
In addition, cultural exchange activities with the aim of promoting people and landscapes from countries worldwide are also a key feature of the event.
The Vietnamese booth attracts a large number of visitors with the festival offering guests the chance to gain a greater insight into the unique aspects of Vietnamese culture.
Traditional items such as Non La, a type of conical hat, on display alongside a number of handicraft products at the Vietnamese booth.
A large picture depicting the Ba Na Hills’ Golden Bridge in Danang City adorns the Vietnamese booth.
