Every year, MPG organises social charity events and welfare programmes for about 200 employees, with 70 percent of those being Vietnamese citizens.

Particularly, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Victoria State, although its production and business activities were significantly affected, the firm still organised two programmes for those with financial difficulties during the health crisis.

In its programme in April, the company presented over 8 tonnes of chicken products at different locations in Melbourne city. It also offered 10 face masks in each gift packages.

Starting in early November, its second programme, takes place every Saturday afternoon and lasts until before Christmas.

Each charity gift package contains two kilogrammes of chicken products and other essentials such as rice, soy sauce, milk, juice, instant noodles and toilet paper.

As of December 12, the company has organised six rounds of gift distribution with nearly 1200 gift packages were presented to local people./.VNA
