Here are the things you will only find in Binh Thuan, the pride of the land and people here.

Mui Ne and coastal routes

Located only about 22 km from the centre of Phan Thiet city, Mui Ne is the most popular tourist destination in Binh Thuan, which is also home to more than 70% of the resorts nationwide. Dubbed the "resort capital", Mui Ne attracts many international tourists looking for relaxation every year. To most people Mui Ne means straight roads lined with coconut trees, as well as stretching beaches, deep blue sea, white sand and delicious seafood.

Sand dunes

Nature has graced the land of Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan with a range of the largest and most beautiful sand dunes in the country, and most of them concentrate in Mui Ne area with the two outstanding names Bau Trang and Flying Sand Dunes. This is the most popular attraction to Binh Thuan after its sea and resort system. Especially because, despite being surrounded by hot and sunny sand dunes all year round, lotus flowers are in full bloom in the lakes every year. Lotus blooming on the sand also grants Bau Trang another name - Bau Sen (Lotus Pond). Guests coming here can experience extreme sports, such as sand slide, off-road racing and trekking in the desert.

Kingdom of dragon fruit

If the neighbouring province of Ninh Thuan is famous for grapes and sheep, Binh Thuan is well-known for its dragon fruits and is dubbed “the kingdom of dragon fruit” with nearly 20,000 hectares. As a drought resistant easy to grow fruit, the crop is suitable to the South Central climate, especially the arid areas of Binh Thuan. In recent years, dragon fruit garnered special attention by the province to become one of the key export commodities to many markets around the world, helping boost the province’s economy and creating jobs for local people.

Stunning roads like in Western USA

Due to the climate and landscape, Binh Thuan possesses a lot of barren land without people. There are even places in which you must travel through "desert sub-regions" to reach. It inadvertently forms beautiful roads like in the distant western United States, attracting passionate travellers to come there to satisfy their desire for the open road.

In this picture is the vast steppe in Bac Binh district with grass hills on both sides, on the road leading to Luong Son town. This is also the main route from Mui Ne to the National Highway No. 1A in previous years, now it is more pristine after the new coastal road DT 716B is put into use.

DT716B is also known as Bau Trang - Phan Ri Cua route, which was completed in 2016, connecting Bac Binh district with Phan Ri Cua town. It is now considered the most beautiful coastal road in Vietnam.

Driving on roads without people and through "deserts" is a great experience here.

The “windmill” field in Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan, bordering Ninh Thuan, has the deepest sea and is considered the best place in Vietnam for squid. These giant wind turbines are built to transform wind power into electricity.
