Saigontourist was picked by the HCMC Department of Tourism to represent the city at the festival, which takes place at Ana Marina Nha Trang in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province from October 18 to 21.

Some of the southern delicacies that Binh Quoi Tourist Village introduces at the festival include goi cuon (spring rolls), hu tieu Sa Dec (Sa Dec noodle), suon nuong Nam Bo (southern-style grilled pork ribs), banh xeo mien Tay (southwestern-style sizzling pancake), oc buou nuong mam tieu (snail grilled with fish sauce and peppercorn), and xoi chien phong (fried sticky rice).

Guests can also enjoy southern sweets such as che chuoi (banana sweet soup), che khoai mon (taro sweet soup), and hat e (basil seeds).

Artisans from the tourist village will also showcase fruit and vegetable garnishes and carving art.

Saigontourist sets up three pavilions at the four-day festival, expecting to attract thousands of visitors everyday.

The National Food Festival – Khanh Hoa 2019 is a highlight of the National Tourism Year program, with an aim to honor and promote local specialties and the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine to domestic and international tourists.

The event is jointly organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the provincial government of Khanh Hoa. This year’s festival features 60 booths.
