This is Jetstar Pacific’s eight Da Nang route. It recently launched three domestic routes between the city and Thanh Hoa, Vinh, and Phu Quoc Island, linking with Vietnam Airlines and Emirates to service over 185 destinations in 18 countries and territories.

In the first phase, the schedule for Da Nang - Kao Hung flights will be three round trips a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, meeting the demand of nearly 4,500 travelers each month. Tickets are now available, for VND480,000 ($20.6) one way.

Flights leave Da Nang at 8.40am and return from Kaohsiung International Airport at 12.55pm (all local times), with a flight time of two hours and 15 minutes.

According to data from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in the first half of this year the city welcomed over 4.3 million visitors. International tourists arriving directly on international flights were estimated at 1.4 million, an increase of 45.8 per cent over the same period of 2018.

In order to increase comfort and provide a new experience for travelers, flight crews will perform a dance show on the first flight and then on all Jetstar flights every Friday.

Jetstar Pacific operates under the Safety Management System (SMS) approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) and the standard SMS of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and Australia’s Qantas Airways.

It also uses a system of diagnostics and analysis, preventing potential risks and ensuring operational safety.

The two main shareholders in Jetstar Pacific are Vietnam Airlines and Qantas. VN Economic Times
