Accordingly, the firm will start flights from Kolkata to Hanoi on October 3, andto Ho Chi Minh City on October 18.

Chief commercial officer of IndiGo William Boulter said the firm has received activefeedback from passengers for its Kolkata – HCM City route.

The Buddhist community in HCM City will be seamlessly connected to that inIndia through Kolkata, he said, adding that IndiGo has many flights connectingto important tourist destinations for Buddhist followers.

With the launch of the new route, HCM City will become the 7th cityin Southeast Asia in the network of IndiGo’s destinations.-VNA
