About 2km from Uong Bi city, Lung Xanh waterfalls are suitable for one day-tour as visitors can immerse themselves in the lakes at the foot of the waterfalls. Entrance ticket is priced at VND30,000 for adults and VND10,000 for kids.

Kayaking in Yen Trung lake is an unmissable experience for tourists. Yen Trung lake is about 5km away from Uong Bi city and is considered a ‘small Da Lat’ due to its pure air, green pine forests and large lake suitable for outdoor activities. Kayaks are rented out for VND100,000 per boat for 30 minutes. This is an ideal destination for camping activities for families and a group of tourists at weekend.

Tourists also visit dragon fruit orchards when touring Yen Trung lake. The dragon fruit season often last from April to December.

 Den Cong temple, a national relic site, about 6km away from Uong Bi city, is a must-visit destination for visitors seeking to gain extensive insights into the history of the area.
