Speaking at the launching ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, deputy chairman and general secretary of the VBS, said that the centre’s foundation was in response to the development of e-Government.

The system would help connect the VBS with ministries, sectors, provinces and cities, and improve the VBS’s work effectiveness, he said.

Most Venerable Thien said that the electronic operation centre applies the most modern information technology in the world and artificial intelligence.

The connection was not only towards Vietnamese monks, nuns and Buddhists, but also with the world, he said.

The VBS applied science in management and operation, and it confirmed that science, Industry 4.0 and technology contained Buddhism’s teaching. — VNS
