On June 24, 2020, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 coordinated with the Propaganda Department of Xuyen Moc District Party Committee, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province to hold a conference to provide information on sea and island situation in 2020 for 340 officials and Party members of Phuoc Buu town and Xuyen Moc commune.

Colonel Dinh Van Hien - Deputy Political Chairman of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 presented a thematic report on the recent sea and island situation, with specific contents such as: the situation on Vietnam’s waters; the recent moves of countries towards the East Sea conflict; views, objectives, guidelines and solutions in the current struggle to protect the sovereignty of sea and islands of the Party and the State and a number of results of Vietnam Navy’s fight and protection of sovereignty over sea and islands of Vietnam, as well as the results of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3’s activities in management of sovereignty over sea and islands of the country.

Through the conference, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 3 expected to raising awareness for the contingent of cadres and party members in Phuoc Buu town and Xuyen Moc commune on issues of sea and islands; the process of fighting to protect the sovereignty of sea and islands of Vietnam in the new situation ... through which showing determination to protect the sovereignty of sea and islands, preserving a peaceful and stable environment for development.
