Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said that the ministry has dramatically boosted administrative reforms, cut business conditions and specialised inspections, and step by step rolled out the new administrative service mechanism.

However, besides the achievements, administrative procedures still prove problematic. The performance of the one-door mechanism in the settlement of administrative procedures at ministry organs has yet to meet the government’s requirements.

To further administrative reforms and increase the quality of administrative procedures, Minister Tien urged the Ministry Office to complete the organisation of the one-door administrative unit to meet the operation schedule set by the first quarter of 2020.

The Minister asked units to update administrative procedures in time, while closely co-operating with the Department of Information and Technology to build out the public service portal and one-door information system so that they can be officially opened in September 2019 and then connected to the national public service portal in November 2019.

She also requested the heads of the ministry’s departments to take strict actions in line with the prime minister’s Direction No.20/CT-TTg dated July 13, 2018 on boosting reforms on specialised inspections and cutting business conditions. VIR
