On June 24, at the shooting range of the 836 Infantry Regiment of the Hai Phong City Military Command, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 organized the inspection of shooting skills, using K54 pistols and AK submachine guns and real bullets for army officers and professional soldiers of the on-shore division.

The contents of K54 shooting for officers include lesson 1b for those under 45 years old and lesson 1c for those of over 45 years old and lesson 1 of the AK submachine gun content for professional soldiers of the on-shore division.

During the inspection period, the officers and employees of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 completed well the content of the firing exercises according to the training program. 100% of the participants were all determined, calm, confident to correctly implement the movements, strictly observed the regulations of the shooting range, ensuring absolute safety of human, weapons, equipment and means using during the test.

The results of the shooting test were 100% satisfactory. Particularly, for the K54 shooting content, lesson 1b 21% of participants were rated excellent, 47.4% good; for lesson 1c - 24% rated excellent, 42.6% good, for the content of AK gun shooting, over 26% rated excellent and 52.3% fair.

This is an annual inspection to evaluate the quality of training and shooting techniques of the staff at the unit and the quality of weapons and technical equipment.

Combined strategy training and real-time shooting at sea is one of the forms of general training, of special importance, contributing to improving leadership, command and organizing capacity, and cooperation in combat at sea, as well as the ability to maneuver ships and draft combat documents.

At the same time, it helps train leadership and commanding style in analyzing and evaluating the situation, discovering and handling situations, on that basis, step by step improving skills, techniques, training bravery, combat quality and flexibility for cadres and soldiers and increase the maneuverability of related forces.
