The four bridges will be built in the form of a public - private partnership (PPP) model.

Can Gio Bridge, the largest of the four projects, is 3.9km long connecting Nha Be and Can Gio districts. The much awaiting project will facilitate travel of local people who have used Binh Khanh ferry for years.

A representative from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport stated that the four bridges are set to help strengthen traffic capacity in the region, while also contributing to improving infrastructure under the southern metropolis’ plans on boosting both tourism and socio-economic development.
