In a document sent to the People’s Committees of cities and provinces, the ministry asked F1 cases to self-isolate at home within seven days and self-monitor their health for the next seven days.

F1 individuals have to comply with “5K” message - khau trang (face mask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declaration).

They are requested to report local medical facilities about any signs of infections including cough, fever, shortness of breath, and loss of taste or smell.

F1 people have to take RT-PCR or antigen rapid tests twice (one on the first day of self-isolation and the rest on the seventh day).

The ministry asked localities to strengthen regular supervision of those taking self-quarantine at home.

Earlier, the ministry also allowed fully vaccinated people and those who have recovered from Covid-19 to self-isolate for three days instead of going to  centralized quarantine camps for seven days.

Over 59 million people have been fully vaccinated in the country so far.
