Frost forecasted to hit northern mountainous areas

 

 

The centre reported that the cold weather has covered most of northern localities early this morning, December 2.

Several northern and northern central localities had rains, while Hanoi experienced temperatures of below 20 degrees centigrade in the early morning and in the afternoon.    

Between 5-7 cold spells would affect the north in the first two weeks of December, including strong ones.

From December 5, the cold snaps would cause frost in some northern mountainous areas.

This year’s winter would warmer than last year. December would 1-1.5 degrees centigrade higher than last year, while the temperature rise for January and February 0.5-1 degrees centigrade, experts said.
