Since early 2020, although the unit has had to perform many missions so its forces and means of transport have been frequently dispersed; the Covid-19 epidemic has developed very complicatedly, but with high determination, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 has successfully completed the implementation of the "Year of Discipline 2020" on various aspects including: discipline in training and political activities; in the readiness for fighting and combat training; in formal construction, discipline management; in professional work and law; and in logistics, engineering.

Party committees and commanders at all levels have implemented synchronously and comprehensively all tasks according to the set contents and criteria. The unit has maintained high unity; political and ideological situation of cadres and soldiers in the entire High Command has been stable, with highly consensus, absolute confidence in the Party's leadership, good political responsibility attitude, receiving and completing all assigned tasks.

The work of combat training and combat readiness, maintaining law enforcement at sea, building regular order and practicing discipline, performing extraordinary tasks have been always organized closely, scientifically, ensuring quality and security, highly appreciated by leaders of all levels and inspection teams.

On behalf of the Standing Party Committee of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1, Colonel Tran Van Tho requested agencies and units to continue to implement well contents of the "Year of Discipline 2020".

Specifically, focusing on a number of specific measures such as: adhering to the duties assigned by the High Command of Vietnam Coast Guard; building internal unity, overcoming difficulties, striving to well fulfill the tasks in the last 6 months of 2020; strictly maintaining the forces and means for combat readiness, especially on holidays; grasping the situation; analyzing, evaluating, forecasting, promptly giving advice on handling proposals; improving the efficiency of maintaining law enforcement at sea, especially in protecting sovereignty, fighting crime, smuggling, trade fraud, maintaining political security, order and safety on the sea; completing the planned training content.

Well combining innovation and improvement of training quality with building regular order, practicing discipline. Promptly detecting and preventing phenomena that can lead to violation of discipline, striving to have no violation of discipline in the whole region in 2020; well preparing forces and means to be ready to perform unexpected tasks.
