Colonel Ngo Binh Minh reported to the mission: So far this year, although the unit has been affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, it has thoroughly grasped the task, implemented synchronously and comprehensively the tasks in all working aspects, well completing the tasks assigned to the Region by the Party Committee and the Head of the High Command of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

Outstanding results included: the combat readiness tasks, combat training; protecting sovereignty, security and safety in the assigned waters; crime prevention and violation of laws at sea; search and rescue, help people overcome natural disasters, prevent and combat Covid-19 epidemics.

In 2020, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the High Command of Coast Guard in the movement "The Coast Guard join hands with the poor - not to let anyone be left behind". During the anti-crime and violation campaign launched before, during and after the 2020 Lunar New Year, the the High Command of the Coast Guard asked the 389 National Steering Committee to present the Certificate of Merit to the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1.

After inspecting the combat readiness work on vessels of the 11th Squadron and listening to reports as well as opinions, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia on behalf of the mission took note and praised the results achieved by the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 in the first 4 months of the year.

Regarding the direction in the next time, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff asked the unit to continue doing well in the educational work, raising the vigilance for cadres and soldiers; strictly maintain discipline, training regimes, the spirit of combat readiness, ensuring security and safety in assigned waters; continue to consolidate and supplement the system of combat documents close to the actual situation and tasks of the unit in the new situation; improve the quality of formal construction, discipline and discipline management; build solidarity in the whole unit; coordinate closely and effectively with other forces in the implementation of sea missions, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.
