Police said the truck, with 20 people on board, veered off the road and plungedoff the cliff at around 10:35 a.m. along a highway in T'boli town.

The truck was travelling from GeneralSantos city to Surallah town when the accident happened.

Fourteen people died on the spot whileanother died at the hospital and several others were injured, police said inits initial report.
