iPhone 11 was officially sold in Vietnam from November 1. FPT Shop and The Gioi Di Dong received 33,200 orders in total. Demand in the first five days has continued to rise and is much higher than for the last release.

Nguyen Do Quyen, CEO of FPT Shop, said, "At first, we only set the goal for a growth rate of 20% compared to 2018. But the actual rate after four days was 80%."

Smaller chains also reported huge demand. 50% of the orders are for iPhone 11Pro Max. Minh Tuan, head of Minh Tuan electronic stores said iPhone 11 Pro Max had had improvements related to camera and battery and was much more attractive than the previous models. Tuan predicted that the iPhone Pro Max would continue attracting customers in December.

Nguyen Viet Anh, deputy director of FPT Shop, said another driving factor for such huge orders were better maintenance and refund policies.

The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have been officially sold in Vietnam at the starting price of VND21.9m (USD942). Dtinews
