On December 13, the Ministry of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung approved the project to develop indicators to assess the level of digital transformation of enterprises and support digital transformation of enterprises.

The project consists of a set of indicators for assessing the level of digital transformation of Vietnamese enterprises, referred to as "Digital Business Indicators" (DBI), and tasks and solutions for organizing and deploying the application of the DBI.

The DBI will consist of 3 indexes, applied to 3 types of enterprises classified by size: small and medium enterprises, large enterprises, and corporations.

Under this project, the portal "Assessment of the level of digital transformation of enterprises" will be built and operated to serve the assessment of the digital transformation level of enterprises; help businesses with tools to self-assess their digital transformation level; provide rankings of the level of digital transformation of enterprises; and support businesses in digital transformation activities.

The project will also set up a network of consultants and experts in digital transformation assessment.
