A pine forest is poisoned in Lam Dong Province

 

 

 

Deputy head of Lam Dong Provincial Department of Public Security, Dinh Xuan Huy, announced on May 29 that three local men including Ngo Van Diem, 35, Nguyen Van Loi, 23, and Duong Van Hong, 53, had been arrested while some others are being summoned in their investigation.

According to the police, Diem, who currently owns 3,500 square metres of farmland in the area, hired some people including Loi and Hong to poison the pine forest to steal 2,500 square metres for farming.
