The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on September 23 celebrates its 89th unification anniversary at the hands of His Majesty late King Abdul Aziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, whose approach was followed by his sons, before passing the leadership to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Ambassador Saud F.M Al Suwelim sends a message to Việt Nam News on the occasion.

The Kingdom has become a country with a global presence and influence which serves as a model for pursuing a policy of prudence and moderation and standing by its brothers and friends.

The Kingdom is witnessing a strategic transformation led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, in which the Saudi people have become the centre of change and development and enjoy incentives for human and material development to occupy a distinguished position among advanced and influential societies.

This is within the framework of the ambitious vision 2030 which puts the Kingdom in the group of developed countries based on a solid economic foundation, an effective investment environment and an economic entity with diverse sources of income and wealth.

We would like to take this precious occasion to praise the close relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam since the establishment of our diplomatic ties in 1999, which have been significantly developing in all fields.

There are tremendous opportunities and possibilities to further promote bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of trade, labour and tourism for our mutual benefit. To achieve this goal, great efforts are being made by the two countries to boost this relationship in the years to come.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Hanoi avails itself of this opportunity to extend its warm congratulations to the friendly Government and people of Vietnam on the occasion of its 74th National Day, wishing the Government and the people of Vietnam every success and progress, and for the relationship between the two countries every progress and growth.
