The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has a new deputy minister, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hoan, who was previously the chief of the Ministry’s office.

Mr. Hoan was born in 1967 in Thanh Hoa province. He holds a bachelor degree on construction economics and bachelor degree in financial economics.

He has worked for 28 years at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: at the Department of Overseas Labor Management from 1993 to 2007. In 2007 he was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Office. Since 2015 he has been the Chief of the Office.

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs currently has four deputy ministers: Le Tan Dung, Le Van Thanh, Nguyen Thi Ha and Nguyen Ba Hoan.

The Ministry of Education and Training also has a new deputy minister - Ms. Ngo Thi Minh, the former Vice Chair of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children.

Minh was born in 1964 in Quang Ninh province. She graduated from the Pedagogical University, majoring in Mathematics. She is also has a bachelor of business administration, and a PhD in Education Management.

Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training has three Deputy Ministers including Nguyen Huu Do, Nguyen Van Phuc and Pham Ngoc Thuong.

Mr. Dang Van Minh, 54, has become the new Chairman of the central province of Quang Ngai. Minh was former Vice Secretary General of the provincial Party Committee. Minh was born in Quang Ngai province and holds a bachelor degree in Economic Law.

The southern province of Vinh Long has a new Vice Chairman – Mr. Nguyen Van Liet, former Director of the local Department of Transport.

Liet, born in 1966, has a bachelor in economics, bachelor in politics specializing in organization, and holds a master degree in Party construction, State government.

Mr. Dang Van Minh, 54, has become the new Chairman of the central province of Quang Ngai.

 

For the Ministry of Public Securities, the President decided to promote two Major Generals to Lieutenant Generals and seven Colonels to Major Generals.

The two officers promoted from the rank of Major General to Lieutenant General are Director of the Foreign Affairs Department Nguyen Thanh Son and Director of the Police Department in charge of Prison Management Le Minh Hung.

The seven officers promoted from the rank of Colonel to Major General are: Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department Le Hong Nam; Director of Thanh Hoa Province’s Police Agency Tran Phu Ha; Director of Traffic Police Agency Nguyen Van Trung; Director of Home Security Agency Pham Ngoc Viet; Director of Police Department for drug-related crime investigation Nguyen Van Vien; Director of Nghe An province’s Police Agency Vo Trong Hai; and Commander of the High Command of Police Tran Hai Quan.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed decisions to appoint senior personnel of the Ministry of Defense.

Specifically, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Nguyen Quang Ngoc, in charge of Commander of Military Region 3, as Commander of Military Region 3.

Rear Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, in charge of the Commander of the Naval Service, was appointed as Commander of the Naval Service.

Major General Le Duc Thai, in charge of the Commander of the Border Guard, holds the position of Commander of the Border Guard.

The Prime Minister appointed Colonel Le Quang Dao, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Border Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Border Guard.

Colonel Ha Tat Dat, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Military Command of Hoa Binh province, holds the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 3.
