Streamers now can be as famous as the top stars. They have large fan bases who are ready to wholeheartedly support their idols.

Many streamers have turned part of their work into building their own businesses. However, one can never tell what is going to happen in the world of business.

Among the streamers who invested in their own business are some who have found great success and are still growing their brand day by day, but the rest haven’t been so fortunate.

Do Mixi is one of the most popular streamers in Vietnam. Using his reputation as a foundation, he created his own business brand.

Not ‘going big’ like many of his colleagues, Do Mixi started with the Mixi Food snack brand and now sometimes makes and sells souvenirs such as wallets, puzzles, shirts or water bottles, ...

Mixi is keeping his business relatively small compared to other streamer’s because he doesn't want to risk his family’s well-being in case business doesn't go as planned.

In addition to Mixi Food, Do Mixi is also working with fellow streamers Xemesis and PewPew to open the Sa Bi Chuong restaurant chain.

PewPew is one of the most famous streamers to turn his work into business.

The PewPew Vietnamese Bread Store chain used to be a big hit among young people with several branches.

However, ever since the Covid-19 pandemic, PewPew has had to shut down a few of his branches. He’s also invested in a number of other fields such as laundry, shrimp farming, and selling clothes.

However, it seems that PewPew's business is not going very smoothly. On a livestream, PewPew said he had to sell his motorcycle to pay off his debt.

Now he is collaborating with two friends and colleagues, Xemesis and Do Mixi, to open a chain of broken rice restaurants.

ViruSs

The talented streamer ViruSs has many businesses of his own. He has invested a lot in music, real estate, and the stock market.

Besides starting GearVN technology stores, and making music and founding his own investment company, he has had to close ViruSs Studio in Bangkok and a coffee shop in Hanoi due to the pandemic.

Later, another studio in Thailand also shared the same fate.

Recently, ViruSs entered the Blockchain field when he became the Community Development Advisor in the field of GameFi for the Bholdus project.

This was a big step in the business career of the streamer.

MisThy

MisThy's snack shop MisMenu was a hit with many.

As a female streamer with a large fan base, it was not difficult for her to achieve great sales in the first months of opening the shop.

However, on a stream where she was playing GTA Roleplay, MisThy said that after the first three months of peak revenue, business gradually slowed down.

She has also opened a souvenir shop called The Míts Pop-up Store.

Linh Ngoc Dam

Streamer Linh Ngoc Dam also started her own business with a coffee shop called the Katholic cat cafe.

For cat lovers, this is an ideal place because the owner herself loves cats.

As a person who is very passionate about the shop, Linh Ngoc Dam regularly adds a list of new cats to the shop for everyone to play with.

However, under the influence of the pandemic, the shop has also slowed down because it can only serve takeout orders. For a shop like Katholic, this is a very difficult time for business.

Linh Ngoc Dam is planning on transferring the shop to Uyen Pu and moving the cafe to Thu Duc for its new owner to manage.
