57-year-old gymnast Nhon Ly wins gold medal at Legion Sports Fest 2021
 

Ly outplayed nine other strong rivals in order to win a gold medal in the Master Men's Bodybuilding 55 to 59 years category.

He also grabbed a bronze medal in the Master Men's Bodybuilding 35 to 39 years category.

All gymnasts aged above 55 were permitted to register in all age group categories in line with the competition’s regulations.

Nhon Ly is famous in Vietnam for his perfect muscular body, despite his old age. He is notable for winning the INBA/PNBA World Championships in 2010 and the NPC USA Championships in 2013.

The Legion Sports Fest is a multi-sport fitness expo headlined by IFBB Pro League and NPC Fitness contests that takes place in Reno every October.
