V-League bị người Thái 'móc túi', vì đâu nên nỗi

The Thai-League champion Chiangrai United launched the new jersey

A few days ago, Thailand's 2020 football season officially returned after a long break because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and immediately hurt the V-League. In the first match, the Thai-League champion Chiangrai United launched a new jersey with the name of new sponsors and one of the new sponsor was an airline from Vietnam.

According to information from Thai media, the Vietnamese airline with the name on the Chiangrai United jersey will sponsor all transportation services for the players, coaches and staff of the team in this Thai-League season. A few years ago a car manufacturer refused to sponsor the V-League to go to Thailand to sponsor the Thai-League tournament.

It is a sad situation for V-League, but observers realize the fact that the V-League is not attractive enough to lure investors. Besides several names like Cong Phuong, Quang Hai, Xuan Truong ... the V-League has not had too many real stars during the past few seasons, and the quality of foreign players has decreased, making the highest level football tournament in Vietnam less attractive.

The championship in the V-League is also relatively predictable, the quality between the teams is quite different ... and the tournament is too uncompetitive, so it is difficult for the tournament to attract sponsors. Moreover, after 20 years many problems of V-League have not been solved.

It does not mean that the Thai-League has no problems, but at least the Thai people have always shown progress, and changes to please the sponsor, while the V-League has not.
