The Thai cyclist had the best overall time of 28:17.52 after 10 stages. Dinh Thi Nhu Quynh of Biwase-Binh Duong and Nguyen Thi Thi of Loc Troi Group were the runners-up.

In the last 112km stage from Vung Tau to Binh Duong yesterday, Miho Yoshikawa of Elephant Fertiliser - Binh Duong overcame Pham Hong Loan of MM Mega Market at the finish line to win the stage with a time of 2:48.38.

In the team rankings, Biwase-Binh Duong took the title with a time of 84:58.38. Second and third place belonged to Loc Troi Group and Thailand, respectively.

The green jersey for the best sprinter wentto Nguyen Thi That of Loc Troi Group, while the red jersey as the Queen of Mountain went to Nhu Quynh of Biwase-Binh Duong.

The white jersey as the best young cyclist belonged to Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong of Vietnam Cycling and Motor Sport Federation.

Nearly 200 athletes took part in 10 stages over a total of 1,051km, starting from Binh Duong Province through six other localities, before wrapping up at Thu Dau Mot yesterday.

As one of the most prestigious races for women in Vietnam over the past nine years, the Biwase Cup originally lured 12 international teams to take part. However, due to the deadly novel coronavirus, nine withdrew from the event. VNS
