The judging panel will be made up of Luong Thuy Linh, Miss World Vietnam 2019, singer Dam Vinh Hung, Le Xuan Son, editor-in-chief of Tien Phong (Pioneer) newspaper, Ha Kieu Anh, Miss Vietnam 1992, along with Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2018 (L-R).

For the first time in the competition’s history, this year will see the pageant open to contestants who have previously undergone aesthetic surgery.

Along with participating in numerous charity projects, entrants this year will also join in several tourism activities aimed at boosting local tourism demand while affirming the country as both a safe and friendly destination for visitors.

This year’s competition will see the pageant’s qualifiers and semi-final round take place nationwide throughout September and October. In addition, a range of sub-categories will also be held for the titles of Miss Sports, Miss Communications, and Miss Talent ahead of the grand final which is scheduled to take place in November in Vung Tau city.

The contest’s overall winner is set to receive a cash prize of VND300 million, whilst the first and second runners-up will be awarded prizes of VND150 million and VND100 million, respectively.

The judging panel will be made up of Le Xuan Son, editor-in-chief of Tien Phong (Pioneer) newspaper, Ha Kieu Anh, Miss Vietnam 1992, Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2018, Luong Thuy Linh, Miss World Vietnam 2019, along with singer Dam Vinh Hung.

Moving forward, two additional judges are to be announced in the near future.

Most notably, the three contestants who made the final of Miss World Vietnam 2019 have since gone on to record a number of great achievements in global beauty contests.

As the winner, Luong Thuy Linh was named among the Top 12 of Miss World 2019, whilst runners-up Kieu Loan finished among the Top 10 of Miss Grand International, and Tuong San made the final eight of Miss International.

Do Thi Ha, the Vietnamese representative at Miss World 2021, will compete in the beauty pageant when it gets underway on December 16 in Puerto Rico following a delay of one year due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
