Directed by award-winning director Phil Grabsky and produced by Seventh Art Productions, “Moi, Claude Monet” is based on more than 2,500 letters and private writings.

The film reveals new facets of one of the most influential and renowned painters of the 19th and early 20th centuries, who gave birth to the impressionist movement with his famous painting “Impression, soleil levant” (Impression, Sunrise).

Monet’s life is the fascinating story of a man who, behind his magnificent paintings, suffered from depression, loneliness and even obsession of suicide.

Nevertheless, the artist’s flourishing art and love of gardening gradually make his humor, insight and love of life become apparent.

Shot throughout Europe, on the places where he painted, “Moi, Claude Monet” is an original and intimate exploration of some of the most loved and iconic scenes in Western art.

Tickets cost VND100,000 per person and are sold at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi. SGT
