A cultural activity performed by ethnic minority artists at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, where a host of entertaining activities for children are being held this month

The program celebrates International Children’s Day (June 1) and Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) while promoting the cultures and customs of ethnic minority groups of Vietnam.

It also creates an interesting playground to raise awareness of the children about environmental protection, improve their creativity, and provide them with unique summer experiences.

This month-long program is attended by nearly 100 artists of 13 ethnic minority groups from 12 cities and provinces including Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Thua Thien-Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Ninh Thuan, Soc Trang and some others. They will introduce their traditional dishes and religious rituals.

Highlights of the program include folk games, an exhibition of summer activities, a drawing contest with the theme “I love my village”, environmental activities like making useful items from used bottles, traditional craft workshops, and reading space. SGT
