The information was announced by the Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade at a press briefing held in Hanoi on November 12.

The press briefing also introduced the Big Off event, alsocalled Digital and E-Commerce Experience Week, which will take place from November 29 to December 8.

According to Director of the Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency, Dang Hoang Hai, 2019 is the first year that the organising board will support enterprises to sell their products through an e-voucher system.

 

The shopping online events are expected to attract the participation of 1,000 brands, enterprises and distributors; 200 million interactions; 300,000 app downloads;200,000 successful buyers through vouchers and others.

Online Friday 2019 and Big Off will be held simultaneously in three big cities including Hanoi’s Ho Guom walking street, Da Nang’s Bach Dang night market, and Ho Chi Minh City’s Nguyen Hue walking street.

Online payment companies such as Viettel Pay, VnPay, and ZaloPay will support payment and cash-back activities for consumers when using electronic payment wallets. Nhan Dan
