Terminal 4will be built in anticipation of a surge in international passengers. Lastyear, the airport served 67 million passengers, an increase from 46 million in2017. It currently serves 200,000 passengers daily with more than 1,000flights.

Theconstruction of Terminal 4 will follow smart mobility, smart environment andsmart security concepts with self-check-in counters, self-baggage drop spotsand full-body x-ray scanners.
